About This Course

To improve sustainable demand for and use of data in decision making, core competencies among health personnel to demand and use data must exist at all levels of the health system. Competencies include skills in data analysis, interpretation, synthesis, presentation and the development of data-informed programmatic recommendations.

For strengthening of health system in evidence-based decision making at different levels, UNFPA in collaboration with IIHMR University and in partnership with Department of Medical, Health and Family Welfare has designed a programme to build capacities of State, District and Block level health officials and data managers in Rajasthan on the use of data. The programme includes training of health officials and data managers followed by mentoring and hand-holding for data use for evidence-based decision-making.
